Technically speaking, one year ago, I launched the beginning of Air-it-Out with George with a test post. However, the official kick-off of the site was not until three weeks later on October 29, 2007.
The test post was a letter I had sent to the Frederick County, Maryland Board of County Commissioners a few days earlier. In the letter, I was opposing proposed immigration legislation by Republican County Commissioner Charles Jenkins, which I feared would be divisive for the community. Fortunately, the majority of the County Commissioners agreed and pulled his requested legislation from a package to be presented to the state delegation for consideration. This post will be number 703 since October 8, 2007. Since the official launch of the site on October 29, 2007, we have not missed a day in which we offered new content for you to read.
