With just over seven weeks to go to the general election, plenty of news will be discussed. Expect more analysis of the Palin factor - will her selection as McCain's VP hold up to the scrutiny? Time will tell. Will the Obama campaign get back on message and stop the fixation on Palin? Time will tell. All the guests will be asked these questions.
Let's hope the hosts do not forget a failing economy with a annual deficit of 450 Billion and a national debt of 9.7 Trillion, rising costs across the board for consumers, an increase in unemployment, the lack of a comprehensive energy program, the absence of affordable health insurance, a education system in need of repair, and a foreign policy that is questionable at best.
CBS "Face the Nation" - Governor Janet Napolitano (D-Ariz.), Representative Debbie Schultz (D-Fla.) will appear who support Obama/Biden and Senator Kay Baily Hutchinson (R-Tex.) and former Lt. Governor Jane Swift (R-Mass.) will appear who support McCain/Palin
NBC "Meet the Press" - Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY) and former Republican NY Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
ABC "This Week" - former Federal Reserve Chairman, Alan Greenspan. Let's see what he says about the government bail outs of late and his take on the economy.
Also, Senator Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) and Carly Fiorina, a McCain supporter
Fox News Sunday - they get the scoop on Alaska politicians - former Democratic Governor Tony Knowles and Republican Lt. Governor Sean Parnell. Any guesses as to who each will support? Karl Rove will also be a guest.
CNN "Late Edition" - Governor Tim Pawlenty (R-Minn) and Governor Bill Richardson (D-NM). Both were considered as VP picks. Also Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calf.) and Representative Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.)
