Today, Obama is in Norfolk, Virginia - in the afternoon he tapes an appearance for the David Letterman show to be aired tonight, then he is in D.C. Biden is in Boston and Holyoke, Massachusetts and then Nashua, New Hampshire. Michelle Obama is in Fishers, Indiana and Cincinnati, Ohio.

Al Gore to speak at Iowa Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner - This will be a big event as it is scheduled in October, less than a month before the elections. CNN.com has more here.

The economy continues to be the number one concern of voters - It should be as the federal deficit this year reaches 407 Billion which is double what it was last year.
