Sunday Morning "Talking Heads" 7-13-2008

Expect the following to be among the topics to be discussed today - Missile testing in Iran, VP guesses for both Obama and McCain, a sinking economy with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in trouble, Jesse Jackson's "hot mike" comment toward Obama, Phil Graham's mental recession and nation of whiners comment, fundraising by the campaigns, and the FISA vote by Obama.

This Week - The guest is California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is a supporter of McCain while his wife is a big time Obama supporter. The Governor however, opposes off-shore oil drilling proposed by McCain.

Meet the Press - They have Carly Fiorina, a McCain adviser and Missouri Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill, a Obama supporter. McCaskill is another one rumored to be under consideration for the VP - I wouldn't bet on it.

Face the Nation - Foreign policy will be the topic with these guests - Senator Carl Levin (D-Mich) and Senator Dick Lugar (R-IN). Levin is the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Commitee and Lugar is the senior Republican on the same committee. Also appearing is Sallai Meridor, Israel Ambassador to U.S.

Late Edition - Senators Chris Dodd (D-Conn) and Jon Kyl (R-Ariz) along with Governors Mark Sanford (R-SC) and Janet Napolitano (D-Ariz).

I dont like Obama or McCain much, There plans to fix the countrys energy crisis are going to do little in the short term>?? I dont really care who the Veep will be, I think that we need new Candidates, who have ideas that will start to fix this crisis. Before we are all standing in soup lines. But if you are interested in who the veep will be I go to a site called http://www.VeepPeek.com they have Polls and different petitions you can sign. I wish we could have a few more choices this election year. I am not very impressed with Obama’s Energy Plan - If you can even call it a plan>>?? I like the boon pickens plan a little, I signed a petition asking Obama to at least give his plan serious consideration. You can sign the petition at http://www.theobamaplan.com
I had never heard of tboon pickens till about a week ago. I think I like the plan, I just seen it and It seems pretty solid. I dont know though? He is a billionaire after all. Can he be trusted? His complete plan is at http://www.tboonpickens.com

I wonder if either candidate will embrace his plan. Wonder what every one else thinks
