McCain Replaces Campaign Manager

With only four months to go, Senator McCain makes changes in his campaign staff. Steve Schmidt will be taking over the daily operations replacing Rick Davis. Davis will stay with the campaign, reportedly to help in the VP selection and planning the convention. Schmidt managed the reelection campaign for California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, what it means is influential Republicans are not satisfied with the message being delivered by the McCain campaign.
