As if things were not bad enough for Senator Clinton, today former North Carolina Senator John Edwards endorsed Senator Barack Obama at a rally in Michigan today. The HuffingtonPost.com has a story and a video.
At one point voters were wondering who former democratic candidates for President would endorse. As of today, no former candidate for the democratic party presidential nomination has endorsed Senator Hillary Clinton.
Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd enthusiastically endorsed Senator Brack Obama as did New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson and Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich. Only Senator Joe Biden (Del.) has held back an endorsement and former Alaska Senator Mike Gravel is still in the race, or so I am told.
This is yet another ominous sign for the Clinton campaign when no former candidate for the democratic party nomination will endorse her.
