This debate is being held at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia six days prior to the Pennsylvania primary. Senator Hillary Clinton must win by a large margin (10 points or more) to keep her hopes alive for the democratic party nomination.
It will be televised by ABC and moderated by Charles Gibson and George Stephanopoulos. The broadcast time is 8:00 to 10:00 PM ET.
Let's hope the questions will focus on solutions for an ailing economy, how to provide adequate health care to all Americans, how to stabilize rising energy costs, ending the Iraq conflict, and developing a coherent foreign policy based on the support of human rights.
Voters are tired of the "gotcha" politics played up by the media. They don't want to hear more questions surrounding how the word "bitter' was used in regard to frustrated working men and women who live in small towns or whether a landing in Bosnia occurred under the threat of sniper fire.
Can Gibson and Stephanopoulos resist the mainstream media questions and discussion the voters have had enough of and concentrate on the issues at hand? Tune in tonight to find out.
We will be doing some live blogging during the debate.
