Obama to Meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel Today - the two do not agree on fiscal policy in dealing with the worldwide debt crisis or with the current action in Libya. Weiner Latest Politician Caught In Sex Scandal - it seems it never ends. This time, it is Democratic Representative Anthony Weiner (NY). In a tearful confession, he admitted to sending inappropriate photographs of himself to at least six women over time. Weiner is a far left darling who some were promoting as a candidate for mayor of New York. Now, he will be battling to stay in office. The NY Times has more here.

Romney Leads Obama in Latest Poll - a long way to go, but nonetheless, the ABC News/Washington Post poll shows Mitt Romney ahead of President Obama, 49% - 46%. With sampling error factored in, it is basically a even race. ABC News has more here.

Another White House Economic Adviser Bails - Austan Goolsbee becomes the fourth senior economic adviser to leave the Obama White House. He follows National Economic Council chief Larry Summers, budget director Peter Orszag and Council of Economic Advisers' chief Christina Romer. Goolsbee will return to the University of Chicago. The announcement comes just days after Goolsbee appeared on several of the Sunday Morning "Talking Heads" programs.

Rollins hired To Run Bachmann Campaign - old political strategists never totally fade away as Ed Rollins, the former campaign manager for President Reagan reelection in 1984, which he won easily, has been hired by Minnesota Republican Representative Michele Bachmann. CBS News has more here.
