With four months to go until the November election, expect the discussion to be focused on the sluggish economy. The last three months of economic reports, while not indicating a step backwards, have shown less job growth than expected. Unemployment has remained at 8.2% and the stat many pundits like to point out is no president has been elected with an unemployment rate above 7.4%.
Fox News Sunday will feature DNC chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-Fla.) and RNC chair Reince Priebus. Look to see Wasserman-Schultz get the better of Priebus.
Plan to watch Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley (D) square off against Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal (R) on ABC "This Week". O'Malley is also the chair of the Democratic Governors Association and Jindal is among those on the Romney VP short list.
Plan to watch former Democratic presidential candidate and New Jersey Senator Bill Bradley who will appear on CNN "State of The Union".
Expect some continued banter on the Supreme Court Affordable Care Act decision. Especially, on CNN "State of the Union" where Robert Gibbs a senior adviser for the Obama campaign will appear with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
The continued turmoil in Syria may receive some attention when Senator John McCain (R-AZ.) appears on CBS "Face the Nation". Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is also in Afghanistan, so expect her apology for the mistaken Drone killing of Pakistani soldiers and the subsequent reopening of critical supply routes by Pakistan used by the U.S. military to be discussed.
The scheduled guests follow below.
