President Obama in South Korea for G-20 Meeting -
as part of his Asian tour. The recent decision by the U.S. Federal Reserve to pump money into the economy led China to downgrade the U.S. economy rating and also led Germany to question the inflation producing move by the U.S. - The NY Times has more here.

Pelosi tries to settle Hoey/Clyburn race for Minority Whip -
Current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calf.) caused the problem by announcing she was running for the Minority Leader position, which, if elected will cause some other current Democrat out of a leadership role. Pelosi is suggesting creating a new position which would allow the four current democrats in leadership positions to stay in a leadership role in the House. CNN.com has more here.

6 House seats still undecided -
current make up for the incoming House is Republicans - 240, Democrats - 189, which is a pick up of 61 seats for Republicans. The current make up of the House is Democrats - 255 and Republicans - 178. For political junkies, RealClearPolitics.com has a easy to read chart on the House results here.

Will Schumer Chair the DSCC? - Senator Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) is stepping down to concentrate on his own reelection in 2012. The 2012 presidential election year will have 23 Democratic senate seats up for election and the republicans will have 10. The 2 Independents who caucus with the Democrats will also be up for election. Senator Charles Schumer is the rumored choice to chair the DSCC, especially if Harry Reid (D-Nev.) is reelected Senate Majority Leader, as expected. Miller Sues in Alaska Senate Race -
as expected, Republican Joe Miller, who is trailing newly Independent Lisa Murkowski, filed suit to ensure only accurately spelled names are counted for write-in candidate Murkowski. TheHill.com has more here.

The "Chicago Way" -
two Illinois Democratic Congressmen; Jesse Jackson Jr. and Bobby Rush wives received hundreds of thousands from campaign committee funds. A legal expense, as long as certain conditions are met. However, it does not pass the smell test. The Chicago Tribune has more here.
