President Obama to announce more Stimulus proposals today -
at an AFL-CIO event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While it won't be called a stimulus the plan calls for 50 billion to be spent on rebuilding infrastructure across the country. The rebuilding of roads, railways and runways would put many back to work in a modern day WPA. Expect criticism to follow with questions as to why this wasn't done sooner with already approved money from the 800 billion Stimulus bill. MSNBC political commentator Chris Matthews has been calling for this action for quite some time.

In addition, the president is expected to call for more tax cuts for businesses when he travels to Cleveland, Ohio on Wednesday. An extension of the waiver of payment of social security payments for companies who hire the unemployed is also part of the new proposals coming from Obama in his effort to jump start the struggling economy.
