Obama Visits Afghanistan - in signing the security agreement with Aghanistan, President Obama signaled the end of the war.  The trip came on the one year anniversary of the killing of Osama Bin Laden.  The Washington Post has more here.

Chen Leave U.S. Embassy in China - reports indicate chinese dissident Chen Guangcheng is now in a hospital receiving care for an injury to his foot which happened when he escaped house arrest.  China is demanding an apology from the U.S. for sheltering Chen in their embassy.  TheHill.com has more here.

Violence Continues in Egypt as Election Nears - the move to democracy has not been pretty as eleven were killed yesterday during a demonstration demanding an end to army rule.  The presidential election will be held May 23 and 24 with a run off in June.  Reuters.com has more here.

Newt Finally Bows Out - taking his time to exit the race for the Republican presidential nomination, Newt Gingrich finally makes it official today and will endorse Mitt Romney.  Politico.com has more here.

Who Will Receive Mayor Bloomberg Endorsement? - Over the last week, Bloomberg has played golf with vice president Biden and with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta.  Yesterday, he had breakfast with Mitt Romney.  The NY Times has more here.
