Appropriations Bill next battle for Congress - just when you think the squabbling on the budget on Capitol Hill is done, guess what? Appropriations need to be passed by September 30. Who will Be Members of Debt Ceiling Committee? - as I reported earlier, keep an eye focused on the members hip of the committee. The 12 member committee will consist of three members appointed by Nancy Pelosi (D-Calf.), John Boehner (R-Ohio), Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
In all likelihood, an impasse could easily be the result, which would cause the trigger mechanism to be used. TheHill.com has an analysis of probable members here.
