Senate Vote on Debt Ceiling Deal This Morning - Now, that Congressional Leaders have agreed on a deal, it must be presented to members of the House and Senate, voted on, passed and sent to the President for signature.
Not, an easy task as time runs out on a August 2 default date. Progressive Democrats are angry at what they feel is a sell out by President Obama and some house conservatives are not satisfied with the balanced budget provisions in the agreement. So, keep an eye on House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calf.). TheHill.com has a good read here.
The Senate convenes at 10:30 AM today.
