This morning, President Barack Obama will meet with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper - later, the president will also have separate meetings with former Secretary of State Colin Powell and Defense Secretary Robert Gates. Tonight, he will make remarks at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus annual dinner. Look to see Obama on the Sunday Morning "Talking Heads" as he will be making the rounds pushing health care reform. Monday night he will appear on "Letterman".

Senator Max Baucus (D-Mont.) to finally release senate health care reform legislation - the chair of the Senate Finance Committee will present the bill with reports indicate there are no Republicans in support. Carter brings up racism exists in opposition to Obama - what many already knew and few wanted to talk about, has now hit the top of the list. Former President Jimmy Carter spoke last night how racism still exists and impacts on how some Americans view President Obama. Politico.com has more here.

Columnist Maureen Dowd brought up the issue of race in her op-ed last Sunday in the NY Times when she discussed the absurd "you lie" statement shouted by Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC) during the president's speech to Congress a week ago. You can read her op-ed here.

European election Observer says up to 1/3 of votes cast for Karzai questionable - more Afghanistan bad news as the observer says over 1 million votes for President Hamid Karzai are questionable. This, on top of the UN backed Electoral Elections Commission who have already ordered a recount of 10% of the polls. Reuters.com has more here.
