White House Adviser David Plouffe Received $100,000 Speaking Fee From Firm Doing Business With Iran - the speech took place in 2010, before David Plouffe joined the White House staff.  But nonetheless, will likely be troublesome for President Obama as it will be used to show him as weak on Iran.  You can read more here.

Partial Speaker List Released for Republican National Convention - to be held in Tampa, Florida.  The list of speakers includes South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Florida Gov. Rick Scott, Mike Huckabee, Sen. John McCain and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. The keynote speaker will be named at a later date.
