Today, President Obama will be in El Paso, Texas where he will speak about his administration's efforts at enforcing borders and call for the need to resolve a pathway to citizenship for the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants. Boehner To Call For Trillions in Cuts - as the nation comes closer to reaching the 14.3 Trillion debt limit. Today, Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-Ohio) will call for the cuts in spending be in the Trillions if the debt limit is to be raised by Congress. Reuters.com has more here.

Pakistan/U.S. Cooperation? - seems an effort is being made to make up after the death of Osama bin Laden was certainly an embarrassment to the Pakistani government. The U.S. is acknowledging information provided by the ISI - Pakistan's secret intelligence agency to them was helpful in leading to the whereabouts of Bin Laden. Pakistan, in turn is reportedly ready to allow access to Bin Laden's wives who they have in custody, following the U.S. raid. FirstRead.com has more here.

Republicans Continue Efforts To End D.A.D.T. Repeal - hundreds of bill are expected to be introduced in an effort to slow or end the repeal of the Don't Ask Don't Tell policy in the military. The latest would require all four chiefs of the military branches to certify implementing the new policy will not impact troop readiness or effectiveness.
