Republican Fred Upton (R-Mich.) Says House will vote to Repeal Health care prior to state of the union address -
he feels the votes are there to repeal. The question remains; is this just for show? The Senate will not vote to repeal and the president would veto the bill if it did pass. Politico.com has more here.

DNC Chair Tim Kaine Says No Serious Challenge to Obama in 2012 Democratic Primary -
appearing on CNN "State of The Union", he also said the success of the lame duck session showed compromise was possible in the incoming congress. Kaine will serve as chair of the Democratic National Committee for the next two years. You can read more here.
