D.A.D.T. Nears End - Today Defense Secretary Leon Panetta will report to President Obama the military is prepared to end the controversial Don't Ask Don't Tell provision which currently applies to gays and lesbians serving in the military. The president is then expected to formally certify the Congressional appeal of the act, which would then become law in sixty days. The Washington Post has more here.
