Only Political Scandals are bipartisan today -
Some Republican and Democratic leaders try to point out the scum on the other side while refusing to look inward. However, sometimes the spin by one political party does impact elections. Will NY Governor Eliot Spitzer (D), Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich (D) and the recent resignation of Representative Eric Massa (D-NY) have the same effect on the 2010 elections that the indictment of House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R), the scandals surrounding Jack Abramoff and Representative Tom Foley (R) had in the 2006 elections? Joan Walsh of Salon.com has a good read here and you can watch her on MSNBC Chris Matthews "Hardball" from last night below.

The trial of one of the alleged planners of 9/11 and other terrorists continue to cause debate. What is rarely mentioned is that over 300 terrorists were tried under civilian courts during the George W. Bush administration and are currently in American prisons. MSNBC.com has more here.
