Romney Receives No Bounce From Republican Convention - in yet another example of how close the president race is and how voters are set in their minds who they are voting for, Mitt Romney still trails President Obama in polls following the Republican Convention.  You can read more here.

While, the Republican Party focused their convention strategy on tearing down President Obama, they offered little to no solutions to any domestic or foreign policy issue.

Look to see what the polls are saying this time next week, following the Democratic Convention.  If, voters are locked into their choice for president, there will be little bounce for Obama as well.  Otherwise, a significant bounce for Obama will be bad news for the Romney campaign as they head into the head to head debates with President Obama.

Sunday Morning "Talking Heads" Cheat Sheet

George Wenschhof

With the Democratic National Convention set to begin this week in Charlotte, North Carolina, it is the Democrats turn to dominate the Sunday morning political talk shows.

You can count on harsh critiques of the just concluded GOP convention, especially the bizarre convoluted speech given by Clint Eastwood.

Also, sure to be mentioned is the report out by Nielsen, which shows the viewers watching the Republican convention's last day when Mitt Romney spoke, was 22% less than in 2008, when Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) spoke.

Monday, will show the results from three full day polls, following the Republican convention, which will indicate what level of bounce Mitt Romney received from the GOP convention.

While the Republican speakers at their convention focused on bashing the Obama administration and their policies, Republicans, including Mitt Romney, failed to offer any concrete proposals of their own.

Democrats plan to fill the 73,778 capacity Bank of America stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers, on the convention's final night when President Obama speaks.
