Sunday Morning "Talking Heads" Cheat Sheet

A grab bag Sunday, with topics likely to include filibuster reform in the Senate, Texas abortion laws, immigration reform, Syria and the failed peace process between Israel and Palestine. 

NBC "Meet The Press" will have Senate leaders Harry Reid (D-Nev. and Mitch McConnell (R-KY) as guests and expect Reid to discuss the failure of Republicans to confirm President Obama nominees, causing him to consider the "nuclear" option for filibuster reform.

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will appear on CBS "Face The Nation" and will likely discuss the latest efforts by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to restart the Israel-Palestine peace talks.

On ABC "This Week", George Stephanopoulos goes one-on-one with former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer on his decision to re-enter political life as he joins the race for New York City comptroller.

Also, the pending verdict in the George Zimmerman trial will be discussed with NAACP President Ben Jealous on CNN "State of The Union".

Sunday Morning "Talking Heads" Cheat Sheet

Expect plenty of discussion on the events in Egypt, where the military installed a new interim President this week.

Former President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush, appear on ABC "This Week" where they talk on their continuing relief work in Africa, the turmoil in Egypt and the debates over NSA surveillance and immigration reform.

Mohamed El Baradei, top negotiator for the Egyptian opposition and pro-reform leader will appear on NBC "Meet the Press".  ABC "This Week" will have Mohamed Tawfi, Egypt’s ambassador to the United States.

Also, on the agenda, will be more talk on the likelihood of immigration reform. Rep. Xavier Becerra of California, chairman, House Democratic Caucus, will also appear on CBS "Face The Nation", where he will discuss the odds of the Senare bill passing the House.

Senator John McCain, who visited Afghanistan on the 4th of July will appear on CBS "Face The Nation".

Following, state Senator Wendy Davis’ marathon filibuster over a controversial abortion bill,Texas Governor Rick Perry (R) called a special session to pass the bill. Perry will appear on Fox News Sunday.
