Below, is the State of the State Address delivered by Maryland Democratic Governor Martin O'Malley today. He has stirred controversy, even within his own party, by proposing a number of tax hikes, including a sales tax on gas, income tax on higher wage earners and a flush tax on water use. In addition, O'Malley who is also chair of the Democratic Governor's Association, has proposed same sex marriage legislation.

Romney Wins Big in Florida - the polls were right once again as Mitt Romney easily beat back the latest challenge from former House Speaker Newt Gingrich 47% - 32%. Rick Santorum finished third with 13% and Texas Rep. Ron Paul had 7%. The Washington Post has more here.

Nevada and Maine Up Next - already in the caucus state today is Romney, Gingrich and Paul. On Saturday, voters are expected to make Romney a winner with Rep. Paul likely to do well. Maine will hold their caucuses over a several day period beginning Saturday. The Wall Street Journal has more here.
Nevada will be quickly followed by caucus states Minnesota and Colorado on Tuesday. Then, it is three weeks before the next primary when Michigan and Arizona vote on February 28.
