Vice President Joe Biden to stump for Senator Chris Dodd today in Connecticut - he will appear at a Fire station in East Hartford and tout the success of the Stimulus bill. While, it is a year away from the dreaded mid term elections, Dodd is behind in polls and expected to face a stiff challenge. Democrats hold a very slim filibuster proof majority in the senate and do not want to lose Dodd's seat. Politico.com has more here.

Americans have little confidence of Institutions and political parties - a interesting poll from CNBC.com which shows the obvious dissatisfaction with the current economic state of affairs. Obama's leadership on the economy received 46%, Democratic Party - 39% and the Republican Party only 26% approval from the respondents of the poll. You can read more of the poll results here.
