Watch Julianna Goldman of Bloomberg Interview President Obama - beginning at 12:30 PM ET, Goldman is sure to ask the President about the "fiscal cliff" negotiations and his goals for his second term.

53% Will Blame Republicans if No Deal Reached on "Fiscal Cliff" - the Washington Post/Pew Research survey shows only 27% believe President Obama would be to blame.

These results come a day after Republican Congressional leadership presented a counter-offer to the White House.  The White House responded saying the proposal was a "non-starter" as it did not include a tax cut for the wealthy top 2% of wage earners.  You can read more here.

Pelosi Moves for House Vote on Extending Middle Class Tax Rates Today - in a procedural move, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calf.) will push for a vote on a bill already passed by the senate to extend middle class tax cuts.  If it passes with a simple majority of 218 votes, this would take this issue out of the "fiscal cliff" negotiations.  You can read more here.

Obama To Meet With National Governors Association Today - President Obama will meet with the executive committee at the White House today.  The "fiscal cliff" talks will be on the agenda, one day following the Republican counter-offer on the "fiscal cliff" was presented to the President.  You can read more here.

Warren To Serve on Senate Banking Committee - Senate-elect Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) has been named to the Senate Banking Committee.  Warren was instrumental in the creation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and when Republicans blocked her appoitment to run the Bureau, decided to run for Senate in Massachusetts, where she defeated Republican senator Scott Brown.  You can read more here.
