Obama To Dedicate Cesar Chavez Monument Today - He will be in Keene, California to officially designate the Cesar E. Chevez National Monument.  This will be the nation's first site to honor a contemporary Mexican American.

The new Chavez monument will embrace a 3-acre portion of La Paz that was donated by the family and includes Chavez's grave site, his carefully preserved office and a small, white wood-frame house where his widow, Helen, still lives.

Obama will designate the monument by invoking the Antiquities Act.

Obama-Romney Tied at 47% - the new gallup poll taken for three full days following last weeks presidential debate, shows Mitt Romney picked up 5 points from polling conducted prior to the debate.  President Obama was leading 50% - 45% before the debate. You can read more here.

Romney To Give Foreign Policy Speech Today - Mitt Romney will criticize President Obama on his Middle East foreign policy.  In particular, he will say the violence in Libya, which resulted in the death of U.S. Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans was not caused by a reaction to a film, but instead most like ly the work of al-Qaeda. Romney will also say he would arm Syrian rebels. You can read excerpts of his speech here.

Biden-Ryan Vice President Debate Up Next - the pressure will be on both candidates this Thursday when they face each other.  Vice President Joe Biden will need a strong performance to blunt the momentum following the first presidential debate, widely reported as being won by a large margin by Mitt Romney.  You can read more here.
