Ryan's Family Firm Gains From Government Spending He Criticizes - Bloomberg.com has a good read here on Ryan Incorporated Central, the construction firm run by Ryan’s cousins where he worked during the year before his election to Congress in 1998.

The company “would have had a very difficult time building itself into what it is without the government’s role,” said Don Kettl, dean of the School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland.

Warren - Brown Battle in Third Debate - the race for the U.S. Massachusetts Senate seat between incumbent Republican Scott brown and Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren is likely to remain close following their third debate last night.
