Representative Ackerman Latest To Retire -
Democrat NY Rep. Gary Ackerman's decision not to run again came as a surprise. The seat is in a heavy Democratic voter registered district so it is expected to remain Democrat. 15 Democrats and 9 Republican Representatives have announced retirement in this election cycle.
