The Week Ahead -
for political junkies, TheHill.com has a look at what is taking place this week you can read here. The six week continuing resolution will need to be passed by the House by the end of Tuesday, the Senate looks at tackling Chinese currency manipulation and President Obama continues to push for passage of The American Jobs Act. Jobs numbers for the end of September are expected by the end of the week.

Greece Financial Woes Continue -
the latest news being reported is Greece will not be meeting it's deficit reduction targets. Fear this will keep euro zone countries from coming through with another loan has prompted upheaval in the European financial markets. You can read more here.

Warren-Brown in Dead Heat -
in a poll conducted by UMass-Lowell/Boston Herald, newly announced Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren trails Massachusetts Republican Senator Scott Brown 41-38%. This is within the margin of error and a good early sign for Warren. You can read more on the poll results here.

RollCall.com has a good read here on how the battle for control of the Senate in the elections next year is shaping up. Democrats have 23 seats up for election and Republicans have 10.

"Occupy Wall Street" Gets Attention - The Washington Post has a good read here on what is going on. Reportedly, 1,000 protesters were arrested over the weekend on the Brooklyn Bridge and the protests are spreading to other cities.

Trade Agreements Limp Forward in Congress - Politico.com has a good read here on how it is likely trade agreements with South Korea, Colombia and Panama will receive bipartisan support.
