Obama To Take Case To American People -
a day after Representative Eric Cantor (R-Va.) informed the President, during budget talks at the White House, he was not willing to negotiate, President Obama will appear on three local television news programs beginning at 5:00 PM ET.

Republican leaders have painted themselves in a corner as the nation's debt ceiling limit rapidly approaches. Arguing against raising taxes for multi-millionaires, reducing tax subsidies for oil companies and opposing eliminating tax breaks for corporate jets is not a position that will play well with hard working American families

The president is right to stand firm in his position and to take his case to the voters.

In addition, the first to be hit hard by the lack of Congress to compromise on a budget reduction plan, will be seniors and medicare recipients, who will not receive their checks come August.

Budget talks with Congressional leaders will continue at the White House today beginning at 4:00 PM ET.

President Obama may invite Congressional leaders to a weekend summit at nearby Camp David if an agreement is not reached by tomorrow.

Stay tuned...
