George Wenschhof

Obama to Virginia Today -
he will visit a community College in Alexandria where he will highlight a program entitled "Skills for America's future". The program is designed to have community colleges work with the manufacturing industry in job training. has more here.

Rollins Goes To Work On Palin -
the newly hired political consultant for Representative Michele Bachmann's campaign for president, Ed Rollins shows he is not afraid of going after Sarah Palin. "Sarah has not been serious over the last couple of years," Rollins told Brian Kilmeade on his radio show, Kilmeade and Friends. "She got the Vice Presidential thing handed to her, she didn't go to work in the sense of trying to gain more substance, she gave up her governorship." has more here.

Of course, then there's Bachmann, who was part of the "birther conspiracy", which after that, there is nothing. Someone should tell Ed, "you can't make chicken salad, out of chicken s--t".

Assessing the Damage Ten Years After Bush Tax Cuts -
ten years of the Bush tax cuts, 1.1 million less American jobs have been the result. has more here.

So much, for the Republican trickle down theory.

Nation Building Effort in Afghanistan Failing -
hardly a surprise, the newest report out from the senate foreign relations committee says the costly U.S. nation building effort in Afghanistan is not working and will surely fail upon the withdrawal of U.S. troops. The Washington Post has a good read here.

Obama Administration To appeal Florida Judge Health Care Ruling -
not a surprise. A Florida judge ruled on behalf of 26 states, the Affordable Health Care Act was unconstitutional. The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta will hear the arguments. has more here.

At issue, is the requirement that an individual must but health insurance.

Say Bye Bye Weiner -
the latest to call for the NY Democratic Representative to resign is Tim Kaine, the former Democratic National Committee chair who is now running for U.S. Senate in Virginia. has more here.

This comes as reports Anthony Weiner called former President bill Clinton for advice and Weiner's wife was seeking advice from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. You can read more here.
