Protesters Continue to Demand Mubarak Step Down -
as President Hosni Mubarak swears in new cabinet. The U.S. continues it's tightrope dance with the current Egyptian government, a thirty year ally in the region. Below, Reuters has a quick update and the NY Times has a good read here.


Jordan Next? -
Jordan King Abdullah has removed his cabinet and asked a former army general to form a new cabinet in the wake of protests. This comes after the regime change in Tunisia and the current upheaval in Egypt. has more here.


Florida Judge Rules Against Health Care -
U.S. District Court Judge Roger Vinson ruled the entire health care act unconstitutional due to the individual mandate. The ruling was the result of an appeal filed by 26 states. The Obama administration has said they will appeal the ruling, further ensuring the Supreme Court will be the final say. The Washington Post has more here.


Representative Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) Left DCCC 19 Million in Debt -
former chair of the Democratic Congressional campaign Committee not only watched Republicans gain 63 seats and the majority in the House, he left a mountain of debt with only $805,000 cash on hand. has more here.
