Today, President Barack Obama is off to Elkhart, Indiana - this is the third time he has visited the area with one of the largest unemployment rates in the nation. This area was hit hard by the downturn in RV manufacturing and sales. The president is expected to speak at a plant and announce a government grant for electric cars. You can read more here.

Vice President Joe Biden will be in Michigan, a state hit hard by the recession, also touting grant money from the Stimulus bill for research on batteries for electric cars. Politico.com has more here.

MSNBC has apparently scored a interview with President Obama after his speech so look for that on the TV tonight.

Sotomayor confirmation vote could come tomorrow - the supreme court justice nominee is expected to easily win confirmation even without three fourths of the "Party of No" Senators. You can read more here.

Obama speaks out against ads targeting conservative Democrats - two liberal Blogs; DemocracyforAmerica.com and MoveOn.org have been targeting conservative democrats for their stance on health care reform.
