Attend a Debate Watch Party!

George Wenschhof

The options are numerous as the Obama campaign has organized debate watch parties all over the country. There is sure to be one near you! It is also a lot of fun to share the excitement with your fellow Obama supporters. Click here and enter your zip code to find one near you. When I entered my zip code, I found three debate watch parties within 15 miles of where I live. We will also live-blog during the debate here at Air-it-Out with George.

In Frederick, Maryland the Frederick Community College Republican and Democratic students are hosting a debate watch party. In Baltimore, Maryland you can watch it at the Charles Theater where over 160 attended the last Presidential debate. Maryland state Obama campaign director, Sheila O'Connell will also speak to the group at Charles Theater. For more information on how you can help the Maryland Obama campaign, click here.

Tomorrow night is the last Presidential debate and will begin at 9:00 PM ET. Check you local listings for channels in addition to CNN and MSNBC who will air the debate. It will be held at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. The moderator is Bob Schieffer.

The debate will focus on domestic and economic issues and is divided into eight (ten minute segments). Each candidate will have two minutes to respond to the question and then a five minute discussion between the candidates will follow. Each candidate will have ninety seconds for a closing statement.
