On the economic front unemployment continues to rise, home foreclosures continue and the Dow lost over 400 for the week.
On the international front, Asif Ali Zardari is expected to become President of Pakistan and the republic of Georgia and Russia continue to trade ominous statements. Secretary of State, Condoleesa Rice just visited Libya, the first time since 1953 a U.S. diplomat has visited the country.
Both Senator Obama and McCain will appear today along with many of their surrogates so it should be an enjoyable morning for political junkies.

Fox News Sunday - Chris Wallace interviews Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod and McCain campaign manager Rick Davis.
CNN "Late Edition" - appearing will be Senators Barbara boxer (D-Calf.), Jon Kyl (R-Arz.), Kay Baily Hutchison (R-Tex.), and Governor Tim Kaine (D-Va.). Also Obama campaign adviser Robert Gibbs and McCain campaign economic adviser Nancy Pfotenhauer.
